MUSIC

Welcome to Music at All Saints!
Service to God through the music ministry is generally expressed as service to the congregation of a church. Encouraging believers, supporting the sermon, and praising and worshipping God through song are all responsibilities of a music ministry. Other essential roles include unifying the congregation for worship and providing transitions between parts of the service.

Chancel Choir
The All Saints Chancel Choir exists to glorify God through excellence in choral singing and lead the congregation in musical worship. Our singers come from diverse musical backgrounds, from professional singers to enthusiastic amateurs. The only requirements are a love of Jesus and singing.

Worship Team
Our worship team is more than just a group of musicians and vocalists—it is a unified body that leads congregations into meaningful encounters with God. The All Saints worship team is spiritually grounded and dedicated.

“Small Saints”
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” Yes, replied Jesus, “have you never read, ‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?” – Matthew 21:16 –
This verse reminds us of the pure praises that arise from children. Jesus highlights that God treasures their worship. In their innocence, children connect with God in ways that remind us of the value of heartfelt expression. We too can learn from their honest voices.
When we train our children to worship the Lord through their voices and instruments, they will become adult worshipers. This choir is for Grades K-6th.

Praying together as a team before every rehearsal and every service helps keeps us focused on the purpose—using our musical talents to worship the Almighty God.

Our Teen/Girls’ choir is dedicated to building a tradition of singing in our church through strong choral singing. The literature selected is excellent both musically and textually that will appeal to both heart and mind. Weekly rehearsals include vocal and music instruction. The choir participates in select services during the Offertory and at special events such as Lessons and Carols.

Our annual, week-long Music Camp in June meets from Monday through Friday with a concert Friday evening. The Small Saints Choir (grades K-6th) meets from 10:00 a.m. till noon and the afternoon features open classes in organ, keyboard, vocal, and hand bells.
Hand Bell Choir
We are delighted to offer a handbell choir at All Saints. This is a small ensemble that plays a few times a year to open morning services. Nothing sounds more beautiful than the sound of the bells bringing our thoughts together to focus on worship.

Special Events
Lessons & Carols
The Lessons & Carols service is a service of Christian worship traditionally celebrated on or near Christmas Eve in Anglican churches. The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in nine short Bible readings or lessons from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir anthems.
Annual Talent Night
Come for the food, fellowship, and entertainment or, better yet, be part of the entertainment and showcase your talent. This event occurs every September.
Art In The Park Weekend Concerts
Our local Galloway Village neighborhood hosts Art In The Park down the street at Sequiota Park every fall. All Saints features concerts in the sanctuary to coincide with this annual event.
Ice Cream Social & Gospel Sing
Featuring free ice cream sundaes, root beer floats, inflatable games, rock painting, face painting, corn hole, and Gospel Music, our All Saints Ice Cream Social & Gospel Sing is held every June. We feature people who love to sing gospel music and our instrumentalists who play guitars, mandolins, banjos, and more. Everyone is invited to this annual event held on the grounds behind the church.
